My passion for supporting others has been a lifelong calling. Whether in professional settings or in my personal life, I’ve always found purpose in being there for people during challenging times. I bring this same compassion and commitment into my therapeutic work. I am deeply committed to fostering safe, inclusive spaces especially for individuals and communities where mental health is still stigmatized. My goal is to be a part of breaking that stigma and to empower others to prioritize their well-being and find strength in their stories. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers empathy, collaboration, and culturally informed care, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
I specialize in working with children, youth, and adolescents, and have experience in educational settings supporting students with behavioural challenges, as well as those on the autism spectrum. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, meaning I meet each individual where they are, helping them build on their strengths at their own pace.
I draw from evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and skill-based interventions tailored to support neurodiverse clients. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Growing up, I was always drawn to understanding people’s emotions and the invisible stories that shaped their lives. Coming from a culture where silence often surrounded pain, I learned early on how unspoken feelings can weigh heavily on our sense of self and relationships. My journey toward becoming a psychotherapist began with that realization — a desire to transform emotional pain into understanding and connection, both for myself and for those around me.
In my work, I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where clients feel safe to be seen and heard. I believe healing begins in relationships rooted in trust and authenticity. My approach integrates psychodynamic exploration with practical strategies from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also bring a culturally sensitive lens, recognizing how identity, migration, and social context shape our experiences of distress and resilience. I work collaboratively with clients to help them reconnect with their values, regulate emotions, and develop more fulfilling relationships.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy from the Université de Hearst in Ontario, as well as a background in Psychology from the Université de Montréal and a specialization in helping relationships. I provide therapy in French, English, and Arabic.

From a young age, I’ve always known I wanted to build a career centered on helping others. Over the years, this calling has guided me toward opportunities that allowed me to connect with people in meaningful ways and support them through various stages of life. My path to becoming a therapist deepened during my early adulthood, when mental health became more personal through the experiences of close family and friends. Witnessing their challenges helped me see not only the weight that people often carry quietly, but also the strength and resilience that emerge through healing. These experiences shaped my understanding of how deeply our stories, relationships, and environments impact our well-being and reinforced my desire to walk alongside others as they navigate their own.
As a therapist, my goal is to meet you where you are, offering guidance as we navigate these challenges together. Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and I approach it with an integrative mindset, drawing on diverse therapeutic modalities to best support your individual needs. This includes evidence-based practices such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and play-based methods while integrating a trauma-informed lens. Additionally, I take a feedback-informed approach to ensure that our work together is always collaborative, client-centred, and rooted in a strong, trusting relationship.
I work with children, adolescents and adults experiencing challenges in a variety of areas such as life transitions, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, executive functioning, building social connections, stress and burnout, relationships and attachments. Additionally, I have experience working with neurodivergent populations, and strive to provide a supportive, understanding space for those whose experiences may differ from the neurotypical trajectory. I am committed to fostering a warm, welcoming, and culturally sensitive environment where you can feel safe, valued, and empowered to share your experiences. In our work together, I aim to help you explore your feelings, build on your strengths, and develop lasting resilience. My goal is for you to leave therapy not only with a deeper understanding of yourself but also with practical tools and skills that you can carry forward beyond treatment. Together, we can work toward achieving your goals and fostering positive change in your life.
My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences, which strengthened my understanding of human behaviour and the many ways people learn, grow, and adapt. I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, which allowed me to integrate theory, evidence-based practice, and compassion into my work as a therapist. I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and practice under ongoing clinical supervision as I continue to grow in my professional development.”
